Is this news? Everybody, even those who use lots of hours of child care, knows that less is probably better, IF WE CAN SWING IT (that's why I have stayed home for the past year). What if we can't? Then we try to mitigate the effects and do the best we can. Most people know that daycare isn't the best option for little babies, although every so often I meet someone who doesn't think twice about it. If these studies cause people to think about what they're doing, they do a public service. But please let's not start all the finger pointing again. Everybody must choose what is right for their own situation, and we ought to support each other's choices.
