Two new reports about child care studies document potential risk to full-time child care. A University of Minnesota study shows an increased level of cortisol, a stress hormone, in infants and toddlers in full-time high quality child care, and the NICHD national study shows a link between behavior problems and more time in child care. Any surprises there? Should we care about these findings? If we do, how do we go about solving the problem?
